They are Getting Desperate…..
In some developments in the last few weeks,
- As of 1st March 2024, Doctors Nova Scotia formally left Twitter. It seems they couldn’t deal with the heat, although their official, email-only release cites a concern with disinformation, anti-Semitism etc. Maybe they should have engaged with those criticizing their decisions related to the Vaccine mandates and the Lock-downs. It seems that controversial, Pandemic era tweets by representatives of Health organizations are being scrutinized by online activists, resulting in many organizations abandoning the platform (as deleting tweets raises even more controversy).
- On the other hand, Elon Musk seems to be deliberately running Twitter into the ground, ever since he marked it with an X. Remember that the majority shareholders are Saudi investors, so he doesn’t have much motivation to care.
- So called “Canadian officials” are rushing a bill to limit free speech, complete with Soviet-style Star Chambers for “thought-criminals.”
