Why does the President of the (pretend) Union of Dalhousie Students make more than $50,000 a year? Back when I was a student, we even had an in-house President from the families, who along with some other privileged students, would play musical chairs for positions in the DSU executive. One of their most important tasks was running the DSU as a puppet of the University.

Dalhousie University is scamming returning International Students into doing their Quarantine at private hotels for a whopping cost of $813-$1,627.36, even if they have the option to safely quarantine at their place of residence, and even if they have paid full leases for private accomodation! This is in open violation of the already draconian Provincial Laws. If they operate a Law School yet have no qualms about violating Provincial Laws, you get the picture of how scummy they really are....

For students browsing Chegg, be warned that Chegg can give out your IP address to Dal. To quote, At UBC last spring, math instructor Yeager said she collected hundreds of weblinks to exam responses on Chegg and turned them over to the dean’s office. She said Chegg eventually sent back user log information which contained personal data including IP addresses, emails and account names – though not necessarily real names – tracing back to 60 distinct users in the class....
On 2nd November 2020, NSHA claims that there was a “Covid Exposure” at the Bitter End Martini Bar at Halifax. It looks like whoever is deciding what is an “exposure” and fudging the data atleast has a sense of humour. Well OK, that was probably an inside joke and plebs wont get it. Halifax media is deliberately misleading on the Mi’kmaw moderate livelihood fishery issue by keeping Clearwater out of the picture, and portraying the issue as strictly between the indigenous community and the Government.
